I have a tree named ellie. it's named ellie because i have a friend named ellie. and because my tree wanted to be named ellie. and because ellie is just an all-around swell name.

One day, my computer and i got into a fight. it said i paid more attention to the tree than i did to it. so it said it was going to take my tree from me.

"No, you can't have my tree."

My computer got mad at me and started yelling.

"Get your own tree. "

I told it to get it's own tree. But my computer is stubborn. It said it couldn't just go buy a tree because it was a computer. Then it shouted profanities at me. I sheilded my tree.

Then i accidentally spilled some Sunny D on my computer. i promise it was an accident. things got a little crazy. smoke started going everywhere. the monitor started flashing up with errors like "Liquid spill in computer: monitor will blow up soon."

I held on to my tree for dear life...

...after the smoked cleared all that was left was me, my tree named ellie, and a computer that lost it's personality. but that's ok. personalities aren't for computers. they are for trees.

i love my artificial tree.
